Role Description

At AJAN, this role is all about people, taste, and judgment. As our workload grows, so does

our need for the right creative collaborators, and thats where you come in.

Youll help us build and manage a strong network of freelance creatives who align with the kind of work we do.

You will play a vital role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support AJAN Media's growing team.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the full recruitment life cycle, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring processes, and collaborating with hiring managers to address staffing needs.

Heres what the role will look like:

• Build and maintain a growing database of freelance creative talentvideo editors,

motion graphic artists, animators, designers, and more.

• Actively source new talent through platforms, referrals, communities, and cold

outreach.

• Review portfolios, showreels, and past work to assess creative quality and technical

capability.

• Understand project requirements and help identify the right creatives for specific

clients or briefs.

• Support the creation of small, reliable internal teams for recurring clients and

monthly projects.

• Communicate with freelancers regarding availability, timelines, scope, and

expectations.

• Handle initial conversations around pricing, negotiate rates where needed, and help

close deals with creatives.

• Build long-term relationships with freelancers so they enjoy working with

AJAN

• Keep talent trackers and databases organized, updated, and easy for the team to

use.

Skills Youll Need

• A strong eye for creative work and an interest in post-production and visual

storytelling.

• Basic understanding of post-production workflows (editing, motion, animation,

design).

• Clear, confident communication and the ability to build rapport easily.
• Comfort discussing budgets, pricing, and timelines.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a curiosity to learn and grow in the

creative industry.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with the opportunity for remote work as required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Full-life Cycle Recruiting and Hiring practices
• Strong skills in Interviewing and Recruiting candidates
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and hiring managers
• Experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field is preferred
• Understanding of talent trends and recruitment best practices
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline is advantageous
