Responsibilities

• 5+ years of hands-on virtualization administration experience
• 3+ years of direct experience with Proxmox VE in production environments
• Strong Linux administration skills (Debian/Ubuntu preferred, RHEL experience valuable)
• Experience with Ceph distributed storage or ZFS in enterprise environments
• Proficiency with shell scripting (bash) and at least one scripting language (Python preferred)
• Experience with VM migration projects and P2V/V2V conversions
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, bridges, and software defined networking
• Experience with high-availability clustering and failover configurations
• Demonstrated ability or strong willingness to leverage AI tools for problem-solving and automation

Qualifications

• Container technologies (LXC, Docker, Kubernetes)
