About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced System Software Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in testing cloud-based and Android applications, with a solid foundation in test automation, performance testing, and test management.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform functional and non-functional testing on GCP or AWS cloud environments.

Conduct manual and automated testing of Android applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.

Perform compatibility testing across Android flavors, devices, and screen sizes; test Play Store applications across Android flavors.

Execute test cases, analyze results, and prepare detailed test reports for stakeholders.

Implement web automation using Selenium and API automation using Postman.

Work with test management tools (Polarion or JIRA + SynapseRT) design test cases and maintain test artifacts.

Conduct scalability and performance testing using tools like JMeter.

Perform API security and performance testing.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for daily automation and regression runs.

Work in Agile teams and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

(Nice to have) Familiarity with microservices, GCP, and AI-assisted test case generation tools.

Required Skills & Experience:

7+ years of proven experience in software/system testing, with a focus on cloud and Android ecosystems.

Strong automation experience with Robot Framework and Python.

Proficiency in Selenium for web automation and Postman for API testing.

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter) and test management tools (Polarion or JIRA + SynapseRT).

Good understanding of API security and performance testing.

CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins).

Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Experience working in Agile environments.
