System Engineer - L3

Job Description

Join Wipro Technologies as a System Engineer - L3, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and securing our network infrastructure. This position involves hands-on management of Cisco ASA and Checkpoint Firewalls, along with F5 Load Balancer expertise. You will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of these critical systems, which ensure the security and efficiency of our operations. Your day-to-day activities will include troubleshooting issues, managing firewall rule requests, and responding to security incidents, all while upholding the highest standards of service delivery.

You will leverage your skills to diagnose complex firewall-related issues effectively while collaborating with various teams to implement configuration changes and conduct upgrades. Your ability to prioritize and manage tickets based on urgency will be key in ensuring a streamlined operation. The role allows for engagement in both on-premises and cloud-based network security architectures, providing a broad exposure to advanced network security principles and protocols.

Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Checkpoint Firewall as primary skills, and F5 Load Balancer as a secondary skill
Good Knowledge on Load Balancer and troubleshooting firmware upgrade, SSL offloading, Load Balancing Monitors etc.
Administration and maintenance of Cisco ASA and Checkpoint firewalls, including deployment, configuration, and management.
Manage day to day firewall operations, implementing firewall rule requests, configuration changes, and upgrades as needed
Ability to diagnose and resolve firewall-related issues effectively. 
Responding to security incidents, performing troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. 
Troubleshooting and handling escalated tickets like P1, P2.
Troubleshoot and fix high priority issues related to Firewall, Load balancer, Web Application Firewall.
Working on the assigned tickets within the agreed Timeline/SLA as per the Ticket Priority/Severity.
Basic understanding of Network security architectures for On Prem and Cloud.
Basic Routing protocols like RIP,OSPF & static routing 
Should have good knowledge on networking fundamentals and from network security background
Should have excellent communication
Should be flexible for rotational shift, working hours and good team player.
