What You'll Do (Job Role)

• Design and develop radar systems, including hardware, software and signal processing components.
• Responsibilities include system power budget calculations, radar waveform design, calibrations etc.
• Creating system specifications, design documents, test plans & user manuals.
• Design and select radar components, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, and other electronic modules.
• Conduct testing and validation to ensure system performance meets specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sub-system, system integration and performance.

Who You Are:

• Sound Knowledge in RF design Up/Down converters, oscillators, analog and digital beamforming networks, RF cascades, circulators, transceivers, antennas, phased array antenna performance trades etc.
• Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility and interference.
• Good Knowledge in electromagnetic wave propagation theory and modeling to include knowledge of spreading loss, reflection, refraction, diffraction, absorption, and scattering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) techniques
• Experience with radar simulation and modeling tools.
• Familiarity with electronic design automation (EDA) tools.
• Hands on experience on RF Test Equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators & field testing.
• RF, electrical transmission, signal processing, data analysis or modeling and simulation in MATLAB.

Educational Background

• BE/B Tech in Electronics & Communications or ME/M Tech in Microwave Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a reputed Electronics industry in Radar Systems Design for Defense & Strategic Electronics.
• Proven experience in radar system design, development and testing.
• Experience on Calibration Far-field and/or near-field calibration techniques for AESAs
