System Architect

Edgestonetech is building a next-generation hardware + software + AI healthcare automation platform. We are looking for a Systems Architect to lead the end-to-end integration of embedded systems, electronics, cloud services, and AI technologies into a cohesive product ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Define and document system architecture across hardware, firmware, cloud, and AI layers
• Lead the process for requirements, risk analysis, FMEA, verification, and validation
• Work closely with mechanical, electronics, firmware, cloud, and AI teams to ensure seamless interoperability
• Create and maintain system specifications, interface control documents, and DHF (Design History File)
• Establish change control, configuration management, and design traceability
• Drive DFM/DFT review cycles with manufacturing and quality teams
• Contribute to technology evaluation processors, sensors, connectivity, edge compute
• Support integration planning, safety assessments, and regulatory readiness (ISO 13485 / IEC standards)
• Provide technical leadership to internal and external engineering teams
• Participate in partner/vendor evaluation, prototyping, and production planning

Required Experience

• 1015+ years in system architecture, product engineering, or deep-tech integration
• Experience with embedded systems, IoT, or safety-critical hardware-software systems
• Strong understanding of electronics, edge computing, real-time systems, or robotics
• Demonstrated ability to lead specifications, design control, and cross-functional engineering programs
• Familiarity with design validation, test strategy, and risk analysis methodologies

Preferred

• Experience in medical device, healthcare automation, robotics, or industrial automation
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 13485 / IEC 60601 / FDA Part 820)
• Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE / MBSE)
