System Administrator

About the Role

Executive - System Administration & IT : You will be responsible for managing and supporting our on-premises IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will work closely with other departments to deliver seamless and efficient IT services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and support the organizations IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems.
• Oversee data security, disaster recovery planning, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards).
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, and procurement of hardware/software licenses.
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for system upgrades or replacements.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand and fulfill technology needs.
• Ensure minimal downtime and high availability of all IT services.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Education & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (preferred).
• Experience with IT support, systems integration, and enterprise software tools like ERP & CRM.
• Proven experience as a System Admin or similar role in managing on-premises IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with storage systems and backup solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and team player with a collaborative mindset.
