Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator / IT Executive to oversee and support our organizations IT infrastructure. The role involves managing and maintaining servers, networks, and end-user systems to ensure optimal availability, security, and performance of all IT assets.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, enabling them to collaborate effectively across teams and address IT needs efficiently


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux).
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of hardware and software systems.
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points & CCTV cameras.
  • Provide technical support for internal users - troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and manage procurement of hardware/software.
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place and kept up-to-date (antivirus, patch management, firewalls).
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access control systems (Active Directory, Email, etc.).
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure the timely setup of accounts, hardware, and system access for new employees, and secure retrieval of assets and deactivation of accounts for departing employees.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment and services.
  • Document internal procedures, configurations, and IT policies.
  • Support and implement IT projects (upgrades, migrations, new system deployments).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs and resolve technical challenges.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) as a System Administrator, IT Executive, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, etc.).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and related tools.
  • Familiarity with hosting control panels such as cPanel (added advantage)
  • Knowledge of backup solutions and IT security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop troubleshooting, printers, and basic hardware repair.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work on rotational shifts and adapt to evolving technologies
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft Certified, CCNA) are a plus.
