About the job

We are seeking an experienced Syndigo PIM/MDM Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Product Information Management and Master Data Management solutions. You will serve as the technical authority, working closely with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture design for Syndigo PIM/MDM implementations, including data modeling, integration architecture, and workflow design
• Define technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks for PIM/MDM initiatives
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Architect integrations between Syndigo and enterprise systems (ERP, eCommerce, DAM, CRM, etc.) using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools
• Conduct solution assessments, gap analysis, and provide recommendations for platform enhancements
• Mentor and guide development teams on Syndigo platform capabilities and implementation patterns
• Lead technical discussions with clients and present architectural solutions to senior leadership
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are embedded within solution designs
• Manage technical risks and drive resolution of complex implementation challenges

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Syndigo PIM/MDM
• Strong expertise in data modeling, taxonomy design, and attribute management within PIM platforms
• Proven experience in designing enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, and middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.)
• Deep understanding of MDM concepts including data governance, data quality, and hierarchy management
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment architectures
• Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data transformation tools
• Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Syndigo certifications or partner training credentials
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, CPG, or distribution industries
• Familiarity with GDSN, product syndication, and digital shelf analytics
• Knowledge of complementary technologies: DAM systems, PXM platforms, eCommerce (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce)
