Sustainability Analyst

As one of fastest growing practices in DA&S, Infrastructure and Climate Advisory (ICA) team at KDN invites like-minded professionals to help us drive progress and change.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist public and private sector organizations in infrastructure and other sectors to deliver desired outcomes for society and businesses.

The role will be based out of KPMGs Gurugram/Mumbai/Bengaluru offices and liaise cross-functionally with leaders across the business to drive internal and external engagements.

Responsibilities

• Developing deliverables on client engagements with oversight and guidance from senior team members and engagement managers
• Completing various tasks and deliverables to a high standard as part of client engagements to agreed plan, budget, and quality
• Contributing to technical/practice areas including market assessments, feasibility studies, business cases, climate strategy, GHG emissions modeling, climate risk assessments and science-based target-setting
• Identifying and applying appropriate corporate sustainability and climate management frameworks to engagement delivery
• Identifying problems and suggesting problem-solving approaches on engagements
• Developing industry knowledge and continuing to demonstrate a credible understanding of economic, political, market and climate science and global climate action trends

Qualifications

Educational qualifications

• Bachelors and/or Masters degree in commerce, economics, public policy, climate science, sustainability management, or related fields from an accredited college/university
• Professional certifications (e.g., GARP SCR, CFA) relevant to the requirements are preferred, but not mandatory

Work experience

• 0-2 years work experience into business consulting, industry, climate advisory, government, or related fields
