Role Description

This full-time, on-site role as a Surface Pattern Designer is based in Moradabad. The designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and developing original surface patterns and textures for a variety of product lines. Day-to-day tasks include conducting trend research, collaborating with product design teams, producing sketches and digital designs, experimenting with different materials and techniques, and ensuring patterns align with the brands vision and quality standards. Additionally, the designer will oversee pattern development, revisions, and final production coordination.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and digital pattern-making tools
• Strong creative and artistic skills, including drawing, sketching, and an eye for color, pattern, and texture
• Knowledge of material and surface properties like wood, metal, glass, and stone
• Ability to conduct market research and analyze current industry and design trends
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and meeting project deadlines
• Bachelors degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a similar field
• Experience in creating patterns for home dcor or related industries is preferred
• Familiarity with production and manufacturing constraints is an advantage
