Support Lead – Catman/JDA

Overview:

• Position involves a role that is responsible for implementation of JDA Category Management with good knowledge on JDA modules specially Catman.

Scope:

• Core responsibilities include maintenance & support of the customer projects to manage environmental & product related issues. The associate should have knowledge in at least any of the areas (SP, FP & AO, CKB, CC, Reporting).

Our current technical environment:

• Software: BY Products, Dot Net, BA Tools (Cognos) , IIS, Tomcat
• Tools: PowerShell scripting, SQL, Basics of C# scripting, GIT, Rest API, OAuth
• Frameworks/Others: Azure, Control-m, Zabbix monitoring, Git etc.,
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Integration: File based & API Integrations.

What you’ll do:

• Good to have good knowledge in the  JDA products like Catman. Should have hands-on experience with installing and configuring the product and understanding the interactions within various modules.
• Should have implementation experience on JDA products with at least one or two full cycle implementation experience.
• Candidate should be familiar with Azure Basics and preferably should have completed Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification.
• It is desirable to have a candidate who has worked on oracle to SQL server migration. Candidates should be able to manage the architecture challenges from migrating to SQL + data migration issues.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of batch scheduling tools used in Azure.
• Candidate should have thorough knowledge of integration options with Azure and be able to advise on the Web services [SOAP, REST etc.].
• It is preferable if the candidate has previous experience of working in any of the cloud technologies and should be familiar with the basic network terminologies.
• Should have experience in reviewing the integration design and suggest best practices.
• Should work as a liaison between Consulting, Support and Cloud Services to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements during on-boarding of new customers or during upgrades or patch updates
• It is mandatory to have good knowledge of Oracle RBDMS concepts and administration. Knowledge of RAC (Real Application Cluster) is an added advantage.
• Candidate should be able to review an existing application set up and perform an assessment for suitability to upgrade.
• Understands how JDA solutions can be configured to better facilitate client business processes.
• Should have strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of any defect management tool will be an added advantage.
• Ensures quantity and quality content in the Knowledgebase. Should be able to drive a KT and Transition plan effectively.
• It will be an added advantage to have a candidate with knowledge of incident, problem and change management processes.
• Responsible for incident resolution for specific set of customers within the specified POD / Product / Project
• Adheres to priority-based management based on impact + urgency.
• Drive Service Improvement Plans and ensuring the Incident Management process is performed as designed

Work Experience

• 8-12 years of work experience
• To have experience of any JDA products is plus.  
• Experience with working on Azure & understanding Azure landscape to Implement the product architecture effectively.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting.
• Nice to have – Proficiency in Windows/Unix commands and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of Control-m & other CLM/BL tools.

Miscellaneous

• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, as project and system availability requirements demand.
• Should be willing to travel to customer sites for a short duration if the need arises.
