Job Description
Purpose
This is a "Pure Support" role dedicated to maintaining the stability and reliability of the Base24-EPS platform. The incumbent will ensure the smooth running of payment switching operations, handling incident management and minor enhancements.
Core Responsibilities
- Application Support: Provide dedicated technical support for the Base24-EPS switching platform (Aquire/Authorisation).
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to ATMs, EFTPOS, and payment gateways.
- Monitoring & Testing: Use transaction simulators like FinSim/Paysim to validate fixes and system health.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the review and redesign of support procedures to improve team efficiency.
Experience & Qualifications
- Total Experience: 4+ years of professional experience.
- Platform Must-Have: Extensive experience in Base24-EPS support .
- Note: Candidates with only Classic or Tandem experience will not be considered.
- Technical Skills: * Core: C (primary for CSM), C++, and Linux.
- Protocols: ISO 8583 messaging protocol.
- Tools: Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines (good to have)
- Nice to Have: Java, Groovy, AWS, or Azure.
- Understanding of the Acquiring business and payment switch workflows.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders in a high-pressure production environment.
Work Environment
- Location Preference: Bangalore (Embassy Golf Links) or Gurgaon. Secondary options: Chennai or Hyderabad.
- Hybrid Model: 3 days office-based (typically Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).
- Shift Timing: Early start (8:00 AM 5:00 PM) to align with Australian business hours.
