We are seeking a highly skilled Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for our complex software systems and applications.
This role serves as an escalation point for challenging issues requiring deep technical expertise and problem
- solving skills.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues
• Investigate and resolve sophisticated problems that lower
- tier support cannot address
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement solutions for product issues
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and knowledge base articles
• Participate in on
- call rotations for critical support needs
• Conduct root cause analysis for significant incidents
• Develop and implement proactive measures to prevent recurring issues
• Contribute to the improvement of support processes and procedures
• Liaison between support and development teams to ensure effective communication
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of technical support experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong understanding of relevant technologies and systems
- Proven track record of resolving complex technical issues
- Experience with ticketing systems and support processes
- Excellent problem
- solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced troubleshooting and debugging techniques
- In
- depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Networking protocols and configurations
- Database management and SQL
- Scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Virtualization technologies
- Security best practices
- API integrations
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant technical field
- Industry
- recognized certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, relevant vendor certifications)
- Experience in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with performance analysis and optimization
