We're hiring a supply chain leader to build and operate the material backbone of next-generation wellness and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

This is a critical role responsible for ensuring uninterrupted, compliant, and traceable supply of raw materials and packaging across development, pilots, and commercial production.

We're looking for a high-ownership operator who understands regulated manufacturing supply chains and wants to build systems that scale with speed, reliability, and compliance.

Leumas is a venture-funded, Bangalore-based CRDMO building a next-generation manufacturing platform for wellness and pharmaceutical products.

We combine modular production, software-defined manufacturing, and integrated quality systems to enable faster launches, flexible scale, and reliable execution.

Our capabilities span oral solids (capsules, tablets), powders, liquids, and semi-solids, with full traceability, integrated QA, and audit-ready manufacturing systems.

Winning brands and programs run faster development cycles, launch more frequently, and demand tighter control over quality, traceability, and supply reliability.

Traditional supply chains were designed for static, high-volume manufacturing, not rapid iteration, flexible production, or pilot-to-commercial scaling.

At the same time, regulatory expectations are rising. Manufacturing supply chains must ensure complete traceability, compliant sourcing, and consistent material quality.

The result is a shift in what manufacturing platforms require: supply chains that are predictable, compliant, responsive, and tightly integrated with development and production.

The Role

You will build and operate Leumas' supply chain engine end-to-end,

supplier qualification material planning procurement inventory control production readiness.

This is a high-ownership role responsible for ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing across nutraceutical, health food, and pharmaceutical programs.

Beyond procurement, you will define how a modern manufacturing platform manages material flow, traceability, and compliance at scale.

You will ensure material readiness across development, pilots, and commercial production while maintaining strict quality and regulatory discipline.

You will operate as the connective tissue between suppliers, production, QA, and NPD ensuring supply chain readiness never becomes a bottleneck to execution.

What You'll Own

1. Supplier Qualification & Procurement

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for APIs, excipients, nutraceutical ingredients, and packaging materials.

Build and maintain an approved supplier base aligned with quality and compliance requirements.

Ensure reliable sourcing aligned with production and development timelines.

Establish procurement processes that support scale without compromising compliance or traceability.

2. Material Planning & Production Readiness

Ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available ahead of production schedules.

Coordinate with NPD, Manufacturing, and QA to align material readiness with program timelines.

Support pilots, scale-ups, and commercial manufacturing without supply interruptions.

Ensure supply chain readiness supports rapid iteration and flexible production.

3. Inventory Management & Traceability

Maintain accurate, batch-level inventory visibility across all materials.

Ensure full traceability from supplier to finished product.

Monitor inventory levels, ageing, and material utilization.

Prevent stock-outs and excess inventory through disciplined planning.

4. Supply Chain Systems & Process Discipline

Maintain accurate material records in Leumasware and internal systems.

Ensure complete documentation including COA, specifications, and traceability records.

Establish disciplined processes for material receipt, storage, and issuance.

Build supply chain systems that scale with manufacturing growth.

5. Cross-Functional Execution

Work closely with Manufacturing, QA, and NPD to ensure material readiness.

Support audits, regulatory inspections, and customer evaluations.

Ensure supply chain processes align with quality and compliance expectations.

Translate program requirements into clear sourcing and material planning actions.

You're a Fit If

You bring 510+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing environments.

You've managed material sourcing, supplier qualification, and inventory planning in production environments where quality and traceability matter.

You understand how manufacturing reliability depends on supply chain discipline, material readiness, and supplier quality.

You are operationally rigorous and detail-oriented, ensuring supply chain execution supports production without disruption.

You are comfortable working closely with QA, Manufacturing, and NPD in regulated environments.

Bonus (preferred): experience in pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
