The senior supply planning executive is responsible for Supply Planning for the short to medium term (week to 12 month rolling) to optimise customer service at minimal cost and facilitate SC delivery of innovation. S/he interfaces between the innovation centre, the sourcing units (both in house factories, third parties and other externally sourced products), procurement, category BD and BB, front end customer service, SUIT and technology teams to ensure that there are no interruptions in supply and that the highest level of Customer Service is achieved; as well as ensure that all innovations are delivered on time. The SSP executive also replenishes FG and RM/PM to the set inventory target. S/he is also responsible to control Business Waste, both FG and RPM and always deliver least cost Sourcing Model.

Planning for Foods, Home Care & Personal Care.
SC representative for SNOP and represent planning function
Responsible for conversion of demand plan into a production plan on weekly basis.
Responsible for release of 19 weeks rolling plan and ensure hygiene of the same.
Collaborate with the planning team / Customer service / distribution team (local and imported packs) to ensure delivery of customer service, stock and cost requirements.
Work closely with the Warehouse & Distribution Manager to ensure delivery of customer service, stock, and cost requirements.
Work closely with distribution to forecast distance travelled and CPT and deliver targets while liaising with the appropriate planning teams (site and third party) to overcome short/medium term constraints.
Identify potential bottlenecks on finished goods production, including with key suppliers, and propose ways to resolve them at optimal cost (Short and medium term DSR)
Work closely with demand planning team to drive complexity reduction in terms of SKUs and be part of all S&OP discussions.
Deliver the business supply planning process, particularly the annual supply planning process, to ensure a robust supply plan is issued to the manufacturing sourcing units, third party and sourcing teams for volume and cost planning purposes.
Manage the stock holding policy in order to meet customer service level targets and Glide path/RDOH targets.
Manages material inventories & call offs of RM/PM with suppliers within set inventory targets.
Determines inbound logistics requirements.
Support project teams and ensure appropriate early management rigour in delivering innovation through the wider supply chain. This includes early management of write offs for Finished Goods, raw and packaging materials as a result of new innovation or re-launches (bleed -in/discontinuation).
Run up/ run down of all materials in times of innovations/promotions to ensure limited business waste and on time availability of new materials

ESSENTIAL
University Degree / Engineering Degree. Supply chain (APICS etc) qualification advantage
Experience in FMCG Supply Chain (Planning, DP, Customer Service, Logistics)
Experience on SAP R/3, ERP, APO
Cross functional business process knowledge
People Management
PREFERRED
Master of Business Administration.
Unilever Business Knowledge
Special studies in Supply Chain related subjects.
Experience Required:
