Job Overview
The Supply Associate will manage supplier coordination, procurement processes, inventory tracking, and quality compliance to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations (startup/manufacturing experience preferred).
- Hands-on experience with supplier onboarding, purchase order management, and delivery follow-ups.
- Basic understanding of inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and multi-location coordination.
- Comfortable working with ERP tools and strong in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers, job workers, and internal teams.
- Strong follow-up skills with high ownership and accountability.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong process mindset.
- Good communication skills and confidence in vendor interactions.
- Proactive problem-solver who can take initiative without constant supervision.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supplier Management: Onboard and manage suppliers for purchase and job work. Maintain strong relationships and coordinate for dispatch, quality compliance, and production planning alignment.
- Procurement & Coordination: Raise purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and coordinate inward/outward material movement with the SCM team.
- Inventory Management: Track and maintain accurate inventory records across multiple locations. Ensure optimal stock levels and conduct regular reconciliations.
- Quality Control: Ensure all materials meet internal and customer quality standards. Address and resolve quality-related issues with suppliers.
- Sample Management: Maintain sample inventory, track dispatches, and record customer/supplier feedback.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain proper procurement, inventory, and supplier records and generate periodic reports.
