Position: Supervisor

Society for Applied Studies (SAS), a Delhi based not-for- profit research organization, invites resumes for Supervisor position to be a part of a clinical research team and gain valuable experience in an ICMR-funded study.

Location: Lady Hardinge Medical College and Paharganj, Delhi, India

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Allied Medical Speciality(BDS, BSc, B Pharm) with MPH or MSc (Clinical trials)

Essential:

At least 1 year of relevant field experience in antenatal care or clinical trials

Proficiency in basic computer and smart phone applications

Good communication skills in English and Hindi

Ability to work as a team person

Desirable:

Knowledge of reporting of Serious adverse events

Experience working in an antenatal care clinic, obstetric wards or neonatal ward

Knowledge of consenting and verbal autopsy

Job Description:

This position would provide an exciting opportunity for interested candidates to be a part of a clinical research team and gain valuable experience in an ICMR-funded study being conducted in Paharganj and adjoining areas in collaboration with LHMC, New Delhi to prevent preterm birth in at-risk pregnant women.

Coordinate between the hospital team and study team for reporting of adverse events

Responsible for project-specific activities care of participant and follow-up

Data collection, maintaining records and registers

Timely management of logistics and inventory, medications, and record keeping

Develop field visit schedules (as necessary) and complete task assignments

Summarize field activities and observations, and escalate issues promptly

Perform any other study-related activities as delegated by the supervisor or coordinator
