Role Overview

This position is for the Employee Central Lead role. The candidate will work closely with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects and will be part of the SAP Organization responsible for solution design in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.

The role also involves guiding the data platform team in transmitting data to Data Pond (SLB Data Repository) by understanding the existing SuccessFactors system landscape.


Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Functional & Solution Design

  • Certified consultant in SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Conduct design workshops with customers
  • Lead/manage teams for medium to complex design & solutions
  • Prepare and present documentation for current & to-be state solutions
  • Understand and manage EC data scope and migration to other modules


Core Functional Knowledge

  • Foundational & Organizational Data (Org, Pay, Job, MDFs)
  • SAP ECC Infotypes and mapping with Employee Central data attributes
  • Payroll-related fields and third-party system integrations
  • Integration setup between SuccessFactors and third-party systems
  • Understanding of Data Dictionary/Catalog and data utilization across systems


Configuration Expertise (Hands-On Required)

  • Business Rules & Field Propagation
  • Picklist Center
  • Workflow Configuration
  • Standard & Custom Reporting
  • Familiarity with latest SAP half-yearly releases


Testing & Release Management

  • Participate in estimation & planning for test releases
  • Create daily/weekly status reports
  • Perform:
  • Sanity Testing
  • Smoke Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • End-to-End (E2E) Testing
  • Test management in HP ALM / Azure DevOps
  • Follow testing governance standards & best practices


Soft Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
