Subtitle \ Closed Caption Reviewer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and linguistically skilledSubtitles/Closed Caption Reviewer to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience reviewing and editing subtitles or closed captions to ensure accuracy, timing, and compliance with project guidelines.

• Minimum1 year of experience in subtitling, closed captioning.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

1. Language Proficiency

• Fluency in understanding and typing Hindi & English language .
• Understanding ofregional dialects, idioms, and cultural nuances .
• Ability to maintain tone and context in translation.

2. Technical Skills

• Experience in working subtitling tools like Subtitle Edit,etc.
• Ability tosync closed captions accurately with audio and video timing.

3. Attention to Detail

• Strong grammar and spelling skills for Hindi and English
• Consistency in formatting and punctuation.
• Ability to handlefast-paced dialogue, overlapping speech , andbackground noise .

4. Turnaround Time & Availability

• Currently we have 8 shows that needs verification and correction of Hindi C.C.
• Weekend shows will be additional.
• The C.C have a strict deadline which needs to be followed.
• Resource will be required to work 6 days a week and should be available post his shift to answer any queries, correct or rectify minor changes when requested.
