About the Role

This role is responsible for leading and coordinating primary substation engineering activities across bidding, design, and execution phases. The position ensures technical accuracy, timely engineering delivery, and effective coordination with clients, vendors, and site teams to successfully execute high-voltage substation projects.

What Were Looking For

• B.E. in Electrical Engineering with 1215 years of experience in Primary Substation Engineering
• Proven experience in turnkey substation projects, including bids, proposals, and execution
• Strong expertise in basic and detailed design (SLDs, layouts, BOMs, protection & metering schemes)
• Hands-on experience with AIS systems, FOTE, SAS, PLCC, communication protocols, LAN, and CCTV
• Ability to review contracts, vendor drawings, technical documents, and client comments
• Experience coordinating with vendors, site teams, and international consultants
• Sound knowledge of Power Grid standards, substation products, and system offerings
• Capability to manage engineering schedules, budgets, and cost optimization
• Exposure to FATs, type test reports, as-built drawings, and cable interconnection schedules
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work under tight timelines
• Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project preferred
