Role Overview

We are looking for a high-calibre Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong command over General Knowledge, General Science, and Current Affairs , specifically for one-day competitive exams . The role demands exam-oriented content creation , trend awareness , and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving patterns using AI-driven tools .

The ideal candidate combines conceptual clarity , sharp articulation , and execution speed , with a learner-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Academic & Content Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, exam-oriented questions and solutions for GK, GS, and Current Affairs across one-day exams (SSC, Banking, Railways, Defence, State Exams, etc.)
• Develop concise notes, explanations, one-liners, and revision material aligned to current exam patterns
• Ensure accuracy, relevance, and difficulty calibration as per exam standards
• Analyse PYQs, exam papers, and trend shifts to guide content strategy
• Support test series creation, live class content, and content marketing where required

Quality & Review

• Review and refine content created by other SMEs for accuracy, clarity, and exam relevance
• Maintain content consistency across formats (tests, PDFs, videos, flashcards)
• Incorporate learner feedback and performance data to improve content quality

AI & Tools Usage

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, content automation tools, analytics dashboards) to:
• Speed up content creation
• Improve quality and coverage
• Generate variations and explanations responsibly
• Work with Google Sheets / Docs for tracking, planning, and revisions

Collaboration & Adaptability

• Work closely with Category Managers, Faculty, and Operations teams
• Adapt quickly to exam notifications, syllabus changes, and last-minute updates
• Participate in academic discussions, brainstorming, and innovation initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong command over GK, General Science, and Current Affairs
• Deep understanding of one-day exam patterns and trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, exam-friendly manner
• Comfortable using AI tools for content creation and optimisation
• High adaptability and ability to work in fast-changing environments

Good-to-Have

• Prior experience in EdTech / coaching institutes
• Familiarity with test series creation, PYQs analysis, and difficulty mapping
• Experience in live classes, doubt solving, or content support
• Basic data handling skills (Google Sheets, dashboards)
