Subject Matter Expert (Mathematics)

Job Summary

We are looking for aMathematics Content Developerwith excellent subject knowledge and strong writing skills to develophigh-quality academic mathematics booksfor school students (Grades 3 to 7). The ideal candidate should be able to present mathematical concepts in a clear, structured, and learner-friendly manner aligned with curriculum standards.

Contract Duration - 3 Months

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and engagingmathematics textbook contentfor school-level learners (Grades 37).
• Write clear explanations, solved examples, practice questions, and assessments.
• Ensure content aligns withschool curriculum guidelines(CBSE / State Boards / ICSE, as applicable).
• Simplify complex mathematical concepts using age-appropriate language and pedagogy.
• Create step-by-step solutions and logically sequenced chapters.
• Review and revise content based on editorial feedback.
• Ensure originality, conceptual clarity, and academic accuracy throughout the content.
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and academic teams for book development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong academic background inMathematics(B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Ed / equivalent).
• Proven experience inwriting or developing mathematics contentfor school textbooks, workbooks, or e-learning platforms.
• Excellent written communication skills inEnglish.
• Deep conceptual understanding of school-level mathematics.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly with examples and illustrations.
• Familiarity with academic publishing standards is a plus.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality content.
