Job Description
Area(s) of responsibility
Data Analysis for Material Master Management (product) in ERP migration projects
- Analyze material master data from legacy systems and identify gaps, inconsistencies, and anomalies
- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and data migration teams to understand data requirements and mapping rules
- Assist in defining data cleansing and enrichment strategies to improve material master data quality
- Develop and run reports and queries to profile and assess the quality of material master data
- Support the preparation of data migration templates and ensure data adherence to SAP or target ERP standards
- Validate migrated data post-load, performing reconciliation between legacy and new ERP systems
- Document findings, data issues, and recommendations to improve data integrity
