Skyline Architectural Consultant is hiring a Structural Design Engineer (Infrastructure Projects) for on-site delivery in Jhansi.

Mandatory: M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering with 512 years relevant experience. Candidates not meeting these criteria will not be considered.

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will own/support structural design and construction-stage engineering for infrastructure and public sector projectscovering structural analysis (including dynamic analysis where required), foundation design, RCC/steel/composite design, reinforcement detailing (incl. BBS), and engineering inputs for estimation/BOQ and execution support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Structural Analysis & Design (RCC/Steel/Composite)

- Perform analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure/public facilities (utility structures, retaining structures, water-related structures, and allied works)

- Execute seismic/wind design checks and serviceability checks; support constructability-driven optimization/value engineering

- Carry out advanced/dynamic analysis (e.g., response spectrum/time history, where project demands)

2) Foundation Engineering (Mandatory)

- Develop foundation schemes and designs: isolated/combined footings, raft foundations, pile foundations, retaining walls, and ground-supported slabs

- Integrate geotechnical recommendations: SBC/pile capacity, settlement, uplift, stability, and constructability considerations

- Support foundation-related site decisions and resolve execution-stage issues

3) Deliverables, Detailing & BBS (Mandatory)

- Prepare/review structural drawings and detailing compliant with Indian codes and ductile detailing requirements

- Prepare, validate, and optimize Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement quantities

- Review shop drawings and resolve RFIs/technical queries during construction

4) Costing, Quantity Take-off & Estimation (Mandatory)

- Prepare/review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and estimation inputs (including rate analysis support where required)

- Support tender/technical submissions: specifications, scope clarity, and constructability and cost optimization inputs

- Coordinate measurement/quantity reconciliation support during execution (as required by project workflow)

5) Site Engineering & Coordination

- Conduct site inspections and provide timely solutions to design/execution issues

- Coordinate with architects, planners, and geotechnical and MEP teams for clash-free, buildable design outcomes

- Assist in approvals and technical submissions with authorities/client teams

CODES / STANDARDS (expected working knowledge)

IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 2911, IS 3370 (and relevant provisions for infrastructure/bridges where applicable).

REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

- Education: M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering (Mandatory)

- Experience: 512 years in structural design for infrastructure/public sector/large-scale projects

- Strong hands-on capability in: foundation design, dynamic analysis (where required), BOQ/estimation support, and BBS/detailing

- Proficiency in analysis/design tools: ETABS / SAFE / STAAD.Pro / SAP2000

- Strong drafting/detailing: AutoCAD (Revit Structure/Tekla is an advantage)

- Comfortable with on-site coordination and construction-stage problem solving in Jhansi

- Familiarity with CPWD/State SOR and government project documentation workflows

- CAD capability for complex components (SolidWorks / NX) where applicable
