Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural Engineer with 4-5 years of experience specializing in the design, analysis, and detailing of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural steel buildings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IS Codes, industrial construction practices, and proficiency in design software (STAAD.Pro, MBS, AutoCAD) to deliver safe, economical, and high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Analysis:Independently perform structural design and analysis of PEB structures, including primary/secondary members, crane structures, and mezzanines.
• Modeling & Optimization:Utilize structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro) to optimize steel tonnage while ensuring safety, stability, and adherence to client specifications.
• Drawings & Documentation:Create, review, and approve General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings. Ensure all drawings meet Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA) guidelines.
• Code Compliance:Ensure all designs comply with relevant Indian Standards (IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893) and international standards (AISC, MBMA).
• Coordination:Collaborate with drafting, estimation, production, and project teams to resolve design issues and ensure seamless project execution.
• Technical Support:Provide technical assistance to the erection team, including solving site-related issues (misalignments, fit-up) and conducting site inspections.
• Mentorship:Mentor junior engineers and modelers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education:Masters degree inStructural Engineering.
• Experience:Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in PEB design and detailing.
• Software Proficiency:
• Essential:STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, MS Office.
• Technical Knowledge:Deep understanding of PEB fabrication, cold-formed steel sections, and welded/bolted connections.
• Soft Skills:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
