Structural Draughtsman

Summary of the Role

We are looking for a Structural Draughtsman with at least 2 years of experience in a structural design consultancy firm. Success in this role means producing accurate RCC drawings, reinforcement detailing, and coordination outputs that support our engineers in delivering safe, efficient, and code-compliant designs. This role is central to our projects, ensuring design intent is translated into precise and buildable drawings, contributing directly to the quality and reputation of our work.

• Responsibilities Prepare accurate structural drawings, including plans, sections, and reinforcement details for RCC structures.
• Develop reinforcement schedules and bar bending schedules (BBS).
• Ensure drawings are compliant with IS codes, project specifications, and company standards.
• Revise and update drawings as per design changes or client feedback.
• Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and consultants to resolve technical clarifications.
• Maintain drawing records and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Contribute to projects using BIM workflows (Autodesk Suite/Revit) where applicable.

• Qualifications Diploma / ITI in Civil Drafting (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a draughtsman in a structural design consultancy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of RCC detailing and drafting practices.
• Experience in BIM software (Autodesk Revit / Autodesk Suite) will be considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
