Role Overview

As a Mechanical/Structural Design Engineer in our R&D team, you will lead the design and development of structural components and systems for advanced AC and refrigeration products. You will work on concept-to-production projects , ensuring innovation, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Exploration of New Technology: Stay updated on emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
2. Conceptualization & Design: Translate ideas into actionable design plans for new projects.
3. Detailed Engineering Design: Develop in-depth engineering designs for AC & REF products, including 3D models, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with ID, Simulation, Tooling, Production, and QA teams.
5. Project Development: Oversee the entire project lifecycle using tools like DFMEA, DFM, DFS, PERT Chart , ensuring timelines, quality, and cost targets.
6. Quality Assurance: Apply Tolerance Stack-Up and GD&T standards for precision and reliability.
7. Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Technical Skills Required

• Hands-on experience with Unigraphics NX or Creo for 3D modeling and design.
• Strong knowledge of structural parts and thermal systems .
• Understanding of air conditioner working principles and critical design parameters .

Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a premium engineering institute .
• 58 years of experience in AC/ REF structural design and development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation.
