Strategy Executive

Data Analysis: -

• Identify drivers for demand, supply, and price for existing raw materials utilized for production, encompassing various elements (but not limited to) viz. capacity expansion, tariff/ applicable duties in consuming geographies; feedstock demand-supply, price scenario, availability of substitute products etc.
• Conduct statistical modeling of raw material price drivers and establish appropriate model to predict future prices and demand-supply scenario
• Identify patterns and data trends of prices; analyze and present findings to relevant business teams highlighting key challenges (existing and future) which may impact topline and bottom line
• Derive inference from data analysis and propose recommendation for short term (1-3 months), medium term (3-6 months) and long term (>6 months) procurement options. 

Competition Analysis

• Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development and Materials (Procurement) teams to understand/ update database of key competitors for existing and new products
• Conduct detailed strategic and financial analysis of competition to identify & establish their strategic initiatives and intent with supporting data
• Prepare and present report on competing organizations with analysis of possible impact on organizational business verticals and propose risk mitigation actions. 

Data mining, data reading and documentation

• Develop and update databases by establishing data collection systems
• Mining and acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems with fast retrieval
• Understand and interpret metadata
• Read & interpret data to derive required information, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports with recommendations for decision-making.
