Role Overview:

We're looking for a proactive and knowledgeable sourcing professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in the EMS industry. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of electronic component sourcing, BOM analysis, and supplier communication. You will play a key role in quoting projects, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

*Review and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) to generate accurate quotes for prototype and bulk production.

*Source active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts globally.

*Build and manage vendor relationships; evaluate supplier performance and reliability.

*Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure project success.

*Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines.

*Use software tools (ERP or similar) to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate data.

*Monitor market trends, component availability, and price fluctuations to minimize risk and optimize sourcing.

Requirements:

*Minimum 3 years of sourcing/procurement experience in an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) company.

*Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies.

*Familiarity with procurement software tools (ERP or equivalent platforms).

*Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

*Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

*Exposure to international sourcing and import/export compliance.

*Knowledge of standards such as RoHS, IPC, and ISO.
