Stores & Outbound logistics: Senior Engineer/Lead

As part of our expansion we are looking for talented Store In-charge and Inbound Logistics Engineer to work efficiently in our growing team. Synedyne has been in the forefront of product development in Sensing, Control, Connectivity and Intelligence products in India.

Preferable for immediate joiners.

Key Responsibilities:

Store in charge

• Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
• Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
• Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
• Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
• Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the PPC.
• Maintaining store material as per ESD standard.
• Following FIFO for material movement.

Outbound logistics

• Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials
• Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments
• Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per planning
• Ensure that the products are safely transferred to the end point

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in EEE,ECE,MECH
• 3 to 7 Years experience in stores management & outbound logistics

Essential Technical Skills (Must have)

• Experience with inventory management
• Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, SAP MM
• Ability to prepare reports and effective communication
• Inventory tracking

Inventory-tracking skills include those related to the processes companies use to monitor inventory items,

Determine stock levels, calculate available storage space and identify product or material shortages.

• Outbound logistics

The knowledge and skills required for transportation sourcing and management include choosing timely, cost- effective modes of transportation for all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as for storage of goods.

• Creates plans for mitigating risks associated with high-risk commodities, goods, components, and supplier processes.
• Cooperates closely with internal teams, outside logistics service providers, brokers, freight forwarders, and trade advisory consultants.
