Job Purpose
The Store Manager at Luxury Jewellery Storesis responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, and driving sales performance and reporting. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of luxury jewellery, and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining the brands reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations :
Oversee the daily functioning of the store, ensuring smooth operations and that the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Ensure the store's ambiance is welcoming and in line with the brands image, including proper lighting and fragrance, ensure drinking water and washroom facilities are hygienic and fully stocked. Maintain the pantry to be clean and orderly. Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of all areas, including sales floor, pantry, storage, washrooms an break areas.
Maintain the stores visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment, ensure that all displays, signage, and product placements are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
Manage and monitor the roster ( sales and support staff), inventory of products and packaging materials, ensuring adequate supply and timely replenishment, accurate stock counts and minimizing damage.
Coordinate for stock replenishment and deliveries efficiently.
Implement effective stock control measures and conduct regular inventory audits.
Retail Growth
Drive sales performance by monitoring key KPIs and implementing data-driven decision-making.
Drive sales to meet and exceed targets, implementing effective sales strategies.
Build, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team focused on achieving consistent results.
Structure and manage retail formats including flagship, consignment, pop-ups, SIS, and franchise partnerships both in India and abroad.
Ensure in-store experience and after-sales service are aligned with luxury brand ethos, enhancing customer loyalty and lifetime value.
Sales and Customer Service Training
Record and organize all training materials, videos and docs for training new employees and conducting refresher activities for the sales team.
Train sales teams to follow SOPs to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service, maintain grooming standards, address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Check all old lead assignments and communications between CA's and clients (Limechat and mobile) to assist in improvements, follow-up and converting.
Provide insights for product development and collection curation based on customer feedback and evolving jewellery trends.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and present regular sales and inventory reports (Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly as per templates)
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth and voids in product offering.
Develop and implement action plans based on sales performance and customer feedback to achieve targets and help CA's convert their leads.
Promotions to Drive foot falls
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store events and promotions.
Support a calendar of micro/ cluster events (2/month) in the store such that there are planned footfalls and appointments (1/ week)
Oversee retail expansion and optimize performance across flagship stores, multi-brand outlets (MBOs), exhibitions, and pop-ups.
Engage in community outreach and networking to increase store visibility and attract new clients
Key Skills Required
Functional
1.Experience in managing retail store operations, including inventory management, sales strategies, and customer service excellence.
2.Ability to create visually appealing displays that enhance the store's ambiance and attract customers.
3.Proficiency in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and optimizing stock levels.
4.Track record of achieving sales targets, implementing sales promotions, and driving revenue growth.
5.Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Educational Qualification :
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is a plus. 3+ years luxury retail experience.
