Store Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Person with hands-on experience in store and inventory management for a food production unit. The role involves managing day-to-day store operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting accounting-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and FIFO/FEFO compliance for food-grade materials
• Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and physical registers
• Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records
• Identify and report stock discrepancies, damages, or shortages
• Maintain store-related documentation including GRNs, issue slips, and returns
• Support accounts team with store-related transactions and documentation
• Assist in GST & TDS-related basic documentation and coordination
• Coordinate with procurement, accounts, production, and vendors for smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and internal control standards

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on experience in store & inventory management
• Basic working knowledge of GST & TDS
• Proficiency in MS Excel (stock sheets, reconciliation, reports)
• Experience using Zoho / Tally / SAP or similar ERP systems
• Good documentation and record-keeping skills
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (Supply Chain / Logistics preferred)
• Prior experience in food production / FMCG / manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with food safety and inventory control practices
