Job Description

• Incident Handling (L2/L3 Support)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
• L2: 47 years of hands-on experience in storage administration
• L3: 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise storage environments
• Strong experience with EMC Unity storage arrays
• Experience in storage monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

• EMC Certified Storage Administrator
• EMC Certified Storage Architect
• Strong understanding of storage performance tuning and capacity management
• Experience with data tiering, deduplication, and compression
• Ability to handle complex storage incidents and escalations
• Experience working in enterprise / production storage environments

Responsibilities

L2 Storage Engineer (47 Years)

• Perform preventive maintenance on EMC Unity storage arrays
• Execute firmware upgrades and conduct regular storage health checks
• Continuously monitor storage performance and capacity utilization
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents within SLA
• Optimize storage using capacity management strategies such as:
• Data tiering
• Deduplication
• Compression
• Recommend and assist with storage expansion planning and implementation

L3 Senior Storage Engineer (7+ Years)

• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EMC Unity Storage
• Lead storage architecture, administration, and optimization activities
• Plan and execute storage expansion strategies based on growth trends
• Handle complex incidents, escalations, and root cause analysis
• Oversee and perform firmware upgrades and major maintenance activities
• Guide and mentor L2 engineers
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for issue resolution and improvements

Certifications (Preferred):

• EMC Certified Storage Administrator
• EMC Certified Storage Architect
