Job Title: Storage Administrator

Location: Pune or Remote

Department: IT Infrastructure / Systems Operations

Reports To: IT Manager / Infrastructure Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Storage Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our enterprise storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of storage systems while supporting data growth, backup/recovery operations, and disaster recovery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support enterprise storage systems (e.g., NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, IBM, Pure Storage or Nasuni).
• Monitor storage capacity, performance, and health; proactively plan for scalability.
• Implement and manage data backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Migration of backup
• Troubleshoot storage-related issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with data retention and regulatory policies.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in storage administration.
• Proficiency with SAN/NAS technologies, RAID, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS/CIFS protocols.
• Experience with backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred: Certifications such as NetApp NCDA, EMC ECSA, or VMware VCP.
