Desired Competencies (Technical Competency)

Must-Have**

Experience in Brocade SAN Switches, Hitachi, and storage arrays

Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills.

Analyze end to end Storage performance, performance reporting and assessment, capacity.

Experience in HNAS & VSP environments.

Tools knowledge BNA, Hitachi Command suite, Tuning Manager, Hitachi OpsCenter Etc.

ITIL Process knowledge (Problem, Incident, Change Management), Agile

Team player, good communication skills, flexibility to work in all shifts.

Willingness to support 24x7 environment.

Host Multipathing, Clustering & VTL technology

Good-to-Have

Preferable Automation, scripting knowledge

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Hitachi Storage SAN/NAS allocation, upgrades and optimization standards, migration

Work with client teams to provide timely status updates on project/engagement

Provide Root Cause analysis on incidents, Performing complex Tasks in Virtual environments

Zoning, switch upgrade, decommission activities, fabric maintenance activities

Storage Performance reporting, analysis and tuning

Daily health checks of storages and switches and troubleshooting issues

Daily/weekly/monthly reports or as per customer requirements reports & documentations
