Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in BigQuery GCP BigQuery and Stibo. This role requires working from the office during day shifts. The Sr. Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions that drive business insights and efficiencies.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using BigQuery and GCP BigQuery to support business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data projects.
  • Design and implement data models and schemas to optimize performance and storage.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data validation and quality checks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
  • Optimize and tune queries for performance improvements and cost efficiency.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data solutions including design specifications and user guides.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality data solutions that drive business growth.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience with BigQuery and GCP BigQuery.
  • Must have experience with Stibo.
  • Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Should have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with new technologies.
  • Nice to have experience with other GCP services and data warehousing solutions.
  • Nice to have experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Should have a strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Must have experience with performance tuning and optimization of queries.
  • Should have experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

    • Certifications Required

    Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer Certification is preferred.
