Role Overview :-

As a STEM Educator, you will go beyond textbooks and traditional teaching methods. Your role is to ignite curiosity and enthusiasm in young learners through hands-on experiments, design challenges, coding activities, robotics, and maker-based exploration. You will transform everyday learning moments into meaningful, engaging, and memorable experiences.

This role requires a passionate educator who can combine strong STEM fundamentals with student-centric delivery, safety awareness, and collaborative engagement with parents and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:-

1 .STEM knowledge and Industry Awareness

• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of core STEM concepts in an experiential learning environment.
• Use STEM kits, platforms, tools, and equipment effectively within school and Learning Garage setups.
• Stay updated on:
• Current STEM learning practices and tools
• Market-available STEM resources across age groups STEM knowledge and Industry Awareness
• Quality and safety standards followed in school-based STEM programs

2.Project Planning and Activity Development

• Plan and conduct hands-on STEM activities and projects on a continuous basis.
• Design age-appropriate and skill-based projects.
• Introduce variety in activities and themes to maintain student engagement.
• Adapt and update projects based on classroom dynamics and learning needs. Project Planning and Activity Development

3.Student-Centred Instruction

• Deliver instruction tailored to student age, learning abilities, and interests.
• Adjust teaching strategies based on varied learning paces.

• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and respectful learning environment.
• Conduct Learning Garage walkthroughs and explain program overviews.
• Support parents through walkthroughs and admission-related interactions.

4.Session Delivery and Classroom Engagement

• Deliver engaging, interactive, and collaborative STEM sessions.
• Encourage teamwork, communication, and peer learning. Session Delivery and Classroom Engagement
• Explain concepts using simple, practical, and relatable approaches.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and student-friendly classroom atmosphere.

5.Lab Readiness and Equipment Handling

• Ensure STEM lab readiness before each session.

• Ensure safe handling of electronic and mechanical components.
• Organize, store, and maintain equipment responsibly.
• Keep the lab clean, functional, and ready for subsequent sessions.

6.Observation, Feedback and Continuous Improvement

• Observe student engagement and learning outcomes during sessions.
• Informally assess student understanding.
• Collect basic feedback from students.
• Identify opportunities to improve activity design and session delivery.
• Implement continuous improvements to enhance learning quality.

7.Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to support program goals.
• Share regular updates on sessions, activities, and outcomes.
• Capture and share photos/videos of successful sessions with parents.
• Maintain organized records and media in Google Drive.
• Support STEM events, demonstrations, and special initiatives.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and transparently with all stakeholders.

8.Learning Garage Support

• Develop a strong understanding of the Learning Garage program structure and delivery.
• Provide practical inputs for effective program execution.
• Observe and report student engagement trends.
• Share insights on session effectiveness. Learning Garage Support
• Track, update, and support improvement plans based on NPS scores.
• Contribute to program refinement through hands-on experience.

9.Instructor Training and Program Level Support

• Support onboarding and training of new STEM instructors.
• Assist in understanding STEM kits, tools, and activity execution.
• Provide inputs on age-wise implementation and resource suitability.
• Ensure curriculum delivery assurance. Instructor Training and Program Level Support
• Support troubleshooting, problem-solving, and clarifications related to STEM activities.

10.Safety ,Compliance and Child Protection

• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols within the Learning Garage.
• Fully comply with POSH, POCSO, and child protection policies.
• Follow all administrative, operational, and reporting processes diligently.
• Maintain ethical, respectful, and child-friendly behaviour at all times.
• Communicate professionally and transparently with parents.
• Any form of physical punishment, verbal abuse, or misconduct is strictly prohibited

What you Bring :-

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• 36 years of prior teaching or facilitation experience in STEM/STEAM domains.
• Proven experience in both online and offline teaching within a school environment.
• Strong interest in hands-on learning, tinkering, and experiential education.
• Comfort with coding platforms, robotics kits, maker tools, and ed-tech solutions.
• Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
