Position: Statutory Compliance Consultant (Fixed Term Employment)
Experience Required: 45 years in statutory/labor compliance
Education: Graduate or Post Graduate
Languages : English / Hindi / Kannada
Role Overview
The Statutory Compliance Consultant will ensure the organizations compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations, focusing on registration, renewal, and response management related to the Shop & Establishment Act and labor department notices. This position supports robust legal compliance, mitigates risks, and maintains Foundation work continuity.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage registrations and renewals under the Shop & Establishment Act and other applicable labor laws.
- Respond to all notices or queries from the labor department promptly and accurately.
- Develop, implement, and periodically review compliance processes and checklists with Ascent/Foundation team
- Maintain proper filing of compliance correspondence, reports, and communications with Ascent / authorities
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- 45 years relevant experience in statutory/labor compliance, preferably in shop and establishment/formal business setup.
- Good knowledge of labor laws, shop and establishment regulations, and regulatory procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office, statutory compliance tools, and record-keeping.
- Strong written and verbal communication; analytical skills and attention to detail.
