Strong understanding of the FMCG sector and distribution channels in Assam and the northeastern market.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Distribution Management:
-
Identify and onboard new distributors and traders to enhance the brand presence in the state.
-
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, ensuring that stock levels are maintained, and the supply chain runs smoothly.

Monitor and ensure effective distribution in all major cities and rural markets across Assam.
-

Sales Target Achievement:
-
Responsible for achieving sales targets set for the state, including volume and revenue growth.
-
Implement strategies to increase market penetration and drive product availability at key retail locations.
-
Regularly track sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and address challenges with the Regional/Area Sales Manager.

Market Analysis & Reporting:
-
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform sales strategies.
-
Prepare and share regular reports on sales performance, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
-
Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure stock availability and timely delivery to distributors.
-
Monitor and control stock levels to prevent both overstocking and stockouts at distributor points.

Promotions & Marketing Support:
-
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local marketing and promotional activities in the state.
-
Ensure that product launches, promotions, and campaigns are executed efficiently in the region.

Team Coordination:
-
Work closely with sales, marketing, and distribution teams to ensure alignment of goals and smooth operations.

Train and support the sales team in the region on product knowledge and sales techniques.
