Position Overview:

As a Tax Staff, you will partner closely with clients, ensuring tax compliance, preparing projections, resolving tax notices, supporting special projects, and building lasting client relationships. youll be reporting to the Tax Managers in the Smith& Howard India office and collaborating with the US Tax Services Group on various tax engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and check tax returns for individuals, covering multiple states.
• Ensure accurate reporting for Schedule K-1s, K-3s, QBIs.
• Manage complex structures, including multi-tiered partnerships and entities.
• Oversee multiple tax projects at the same time, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Use tax software like GoSystem; experience with surePrep is a plus.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in U.S. taxation in 1040
• Should possess strong technical expertise in calculating tax adjustments and identifying potential tax-related issues.
• Technical Knowledge : Solid understanding of GAAP, partnership taxation, and multi-state tax regulations.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong communication and time management skills.

Location: Bangalore

Shift Timing: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST (5-day work week)
