Staff Software Engineer

What youll do

• Design and build Go services that are secure, observable, and easy to operate.
• Ship to Kubernetes (Helm/Kustomize), containerized with Docker.
• Own system design for new features: APIs, storage, caching, queues, and failure modes.
• Improve performance & reliability (profiling, load testing, SLOs, autoscaling).
• Collaborate across product/infra to deliver measurable customer impact.

What youll bring

• 48 years of engineering experience, with strong Go (concurrency, contexts, testing).
• Solid with Docker and Kubernetes in production (deploy, debug, resources, networking).
• Excellent grasp of data structures & algorithms; you can reason about complexity and trade-offs.
• System design skills: service boundaries, storage choices, consistency/availability, and back-pressure.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD, observability (logs/metrics/traces), and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Nice to have

• Postgres, Redis, Kafka/PubSub, gRPC, REST, and OpenAPI.
• IaC (Terraform), GitOps (Argo CD), service mesh, and multi-region concepts.
• Security basics: least privilege, secret management, and supply-chain hygiene.
