Job Title: Staff Software Engineer- Node JS

Location: Bangalore

The Staff Software Engineer role prepares you for more senior roles in technology management and delivery. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
  • Contribute to the technical design for system enhancements.
  • Implement features following guidance from senior team members.
  • Provide technical assistance to non-technical team members.
  • Exhibit a problem-solving mindset with a focus on test automation.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while practicing knowledge sharing and T-shaping.
  • Learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Take ownership of initiatives and assets, ensuring the highest quality of customer service.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience: 12+ years of industry experience as a full-stack engineer.
  • Development Methodologies: Node with TypeScript (Must have), MVC with .NET Core (Good to have), REST APIs, Microservices, GraphQL.
  • Test Automation: Unit/Integration/Acceptance testing.
  • Frontend Technologies: HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. React (Must have).
  • Programming Languages: C# with good knowledge of OOPS concepts.
  • CI/CD: Any Git tool. Also good to have knowledge of build tools like TeamCity.
  • Databases: Either relational databases like MSSQL / Oracle, and/or any No-SQL database like MongoDB.
  • Cloud: AWS (Preferred), Azure (Good to have).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills. Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
