Job Title: Staff Software Engineer
Location: Bangalore-Manyata Tech Park (Hybrid)
Business & Team: Corp Tech – Financial Crime Technology
Impact & contribution:
As a Staff Software engineer, you will be part of a squad within the Strategic CLM crew and play key role in delivering key capabilities like building the API s to integrate CBA systems and working on the digitisations of the existing components.
You will be working with other engineers across teams and geographies on uplifting business capabilities and modernise our tech stack. Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions using .NET Core and .NET Framework, leveraging Object-Oriented Programming principles for modular, scalable systems.
Architect and implement RESTful APIs, integrating Design Patterns and ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
Develop and optimize Microservices Architecture, enabling seamless communication through message brokers such as Kafka.
Build and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins for efficient deployment and continuous integration.
Ensure comprehensive Unit Testing (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and integration tests for all deliverables, promoting high code quality and resilience.
Integrate with SQL & NoSQL databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, optimizing data access and storage.
Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with deep expertise in at least one, to deploy, manage, and scale applications securely.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT, ensuring robust identity management.
Essential Skills:
Advanced proficiency in .NET Core / .NET Framework and Object-Oriented Programming
10+ years of Experience
Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
Knowledge of software Design Patterns and their practical application
Expertise in Unit Testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit)
Microservices Architecture design and implementation
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Authentication and Authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT)
ServiceNow integration and workflow automation
Version control using GitHub
Development and management of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
Agile project management and documentation with JIRA and Confluence
Proficiency with Visual Studio and VS Code
API testing and documentation using Postman and Swagger
Strong understanding of Security Best Practices (OWASP Top 10)
Education Qualifications:
A degree in Engineering / Computer Science or a related discipline
