Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Architect and develop the network management services features such as configuration and operation administration, event management, AAA, Telemetry.
- Provide leadership and technical direction in analyzing complex development issues.
- Participate and drive technical discussions within the engineering teams in all the development phases: review requirements, design documents, participate in peer review, develop functional test plans, support SQA team and TAC team.
- Participate in developing data model using YANG and assist in enforcing YANG coding guidelines.
- Triage and support customer issues.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of working experience with embedded networking products.
- Experience as a Systems Engineer and /or lead architect for network management of telecom and datacom network elements.
- Experience in architecture, design, and implementation of the full range of management plane infrastructure.
- Strong experience in management of network elements.
- Strong experience in carrier network deployments for management infrastructure (NOCs, management systems, EMS/NMS).
- Strong experience in management interfaces such as NETCONF, CLI, SNMP, XML, etc.
- Experience in defining YANG data model and translation between different user agents.
- Experience in Telemetry protocols such as IPFIX, gNMI.
- Experience with network management standards from standards bodies such as TMF, BBF, Telcordia, IETF and ITU.
- Strong experience with telecom and/or datacomm FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security) and OAMP&T. (Operations, Administration, Maintenance, Performance and Troubleshooting)
- Skilled with back office OSS Integration (e.g., Subscriber/Service Management, Surveillance, Traffic Management, etc.)
- Familiar with IP routing and Ethernet switching.
- Experience with full software product lifecycle including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Degree: BS/MS in EE/CS.

- India – (Flexible hybrid work model - work from Bangalore office for 20 days in a quarter)
