Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
Experience in leading software projects and developing large-scale web apps.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in two or more general purpose programming languages, including one front-end and back-end programming language.
Experience using different cloud databases, both Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL and reasoning about the tradeoffs between them.
Experience working collaboratively with various partner teams such as UX designers, UX researchers, Product Managers and other Engineering teams.
Experience working on database tools like observability tools, database Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), etc.

Responsibilities

Identify, recommend, and execute improvements to a shared codebase.
Design, implement, launch, and land features with high product excellence, high technical quality, and at high velocity. Develop large-scale, user-facing applications.
Improve the user experience by working with UX, Product Management, and backend Software Engineering partners to influence the direction of the product and the platform.
Share knowledge with teammates to increase our collective effectiveness.
