Job Description
We’re looking for Staff Integration and DevOps Engineer to join Procore’s Data, Technology & Security (DTS). This role demands expertise in Java, Micro service architecture, API, middleware tools (Like Camunda, Workato, MuleSoft) to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable integrations and DevOps implementation experience for automated build, test and deployment processes.
As a Staff Integration and DevOps Engineer, you’ll partner with Salesforce, ERP/Billing systems teams for day to day
This position reports to Sr Manager. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
- You will work with cross-functional teams to build integrations with Salesforce, third-party/ERP /Zoura Billing systems and ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues. - Optimize integration performance and scalability. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Monitor and analyze integration logs and metrics.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
Utilize middleware platforms (Camunda, Workato, MuleSoft) to facilitate complex integrations. - Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms for integrations.
- Design and uplift CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test and deployment processes.
- Automate deployment processes to ensure consistent and efficient releases. Utilize version control systems for code management and collaboration.
- Java and Camunda experience is highly preferred & will be beneficial to build critical components and influence overall integration architecture.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations and deployment processes.
- Help explore Agentic solutions to enhance end to end business process.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ Years of experience in Application Development and DevOps experience.
Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk). - Experience with a middleware platforms like (Camunda, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.).
Proficiency in Java J2EE and SOQL/SOSL. - Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Experience of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices, including tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI.
- Expertise in cloud computing, scripting, automation, CI/CD, and security.
- Understanding Docker and Kubernetes for packaging and deploying applications is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Education: Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
