Staff Consultant- Java Microservices with Core Banking

As a Junior Consultant in the Digital Banking team, you’ll play a key role in the development, implementation, and support of Oracle’s next-generation banking solutions. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to apply their technical skills and banking domain knowledge in a dynamic, client-facing environment. You’ll collaborate with global teams, ensuring quality deliveries and supporting the transformation of banking for Oracle’s European clients.

Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

• 1–4 years of experience in development, implementation, or support of banking applications, with at least 1 year in core skills.

• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices (including Spring Boot), JavaScript, XML.

• Familiarity with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c).

• Experience with software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Servers, especially Oracle Weblogic.

• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.

• Working knowledge of release management and source control tools.

• Willingness to travel and work at client locations or offshore, plus rotating shift flexibility.

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with Digital Banking products and awareness of banking terminologies/concepts.

• Exposure to software development best practices, Agile/DevOps methodologies, testing tools, and SaaS/cloud deployments.

• Familiarity with Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, or Oracle Fusion SOA Suite.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

• Client-facing and presentation abilities.

• Team-oriented mindset and ability to work well in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

• Willingness to pursue Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications as required.
