The ideal candidate will have a natural passion for numbers and a strong

command of accounting fundamentals, including passing journal

entries, preparation of ledgers, and supporting schedules. The candidate

should possess a deep understanding of assets, liabilities, profit and

loss, taxes, and other financial transactions and metrics within the

organization.

Responsibilities

The role is predominantly to support month-end and period-close

processes, including preparation and updation of prepaid schedules,

accruals, restricted cash, fixed assets, depreciation, intangible assets,

intercompany balance reconciliations, loan schedules, sub-ledger

reconciliations, journal entry postings, reclassifications and audit

support.

Conduct mid-level general ledger account reconciliations and verify accuracy of financial data
Support monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial closes, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and maintenance of operational

management accounts

Assist in preparing schedules and commentary for operational management account results, variance analysis, and cash-flow reports.
Maintain and update records and reports related to profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets
Prepare special financial reports for senior management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial data and trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Masters degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Business Accounting, or Finance with relevant professional experience CA/CPA completed preferred
Minimum 57 years of practical experience in accounting, corporate finance and audits.
Strong hands-on experience in MS Office
Proven working knowledge of US Audits and Compliance
Sound understanding of US GAAP
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
High level of integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Strong desire for continuous professional development and learning
