Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor SSO Auth Hub dashboards, alerts, and service availability.
  • Handle and triage user login or MFA issues (password reset, OTP, push, device enrollment).
  • Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of Broadcom VIP Auth Hub and SSO ecosystem.
  • Perform troubleshooting (connectivity, user sync, SAML/OIDC session checks).
  • Perform daily health checks on SSO components (IdP/SP connections, tokens).
  • Analyze and resolve authentication failures and SSO integration issues.
  • Manage federation configurations (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
  • Configure and maintain identity provider (IdP) and service provider (SP) connections.
  • Perform user provisioning/deprovisioning, MFA enrollment support.
  • Conduct certificate renewals for SSO integrations and manage metadata updates
  • Review logs (Auth Hub, Web Access Gateway, API Gateway, etc.) for error analysis.
  • Support user and policy management using Broadcom VIP Manager / Auth Hub console.
  • Create and maintain technical SOPs and known error documents.
  • Integrate Auth Hub with enterprise directories (AD, Azure AD, LDAP) and downstream apps.
  • Define and enforce MFA, adaptive, and risk-based access policies.
  • Manage federation with third-party IdPs (Azure AD, Okta, Ping, etc.).
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and develop permanent fixes for recurring issues.
  • Implement automation for user provisioning, policy enforcement, and certificate renewals.
  • Manage upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.
  • Deep expertise in IAM / SSO / MFA (Broadcom Auth Hub, VIP Access, Symantec VIP).
  • Strong hands-on with SAML, OIDC, OAuth, federation protocols.
  • Experience with Broadcom VIP APIs and authentication logs.

Common Responsibilities Across All Levels

  • Maintain SLAs for authentication-related incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and cybersecurity policies.
  • Participate in DR drills, patch cycles, and access certification campaigns.
  • Support continuous improvement of IAM operational processes.

Preferred Tools / Tech Stack Experience

  • Broadcom VIP Authentication Hub / VIP Manager
  • Active Directory / Azure AD
  • SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
  • Web Access Management (e.g., SiteMinder, PingFederate)
  • REST APIs / JSON / Postman
  • ServiceNow / Remedy (for ITSM)
